Cheese Rolling Event

The first event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Centre was a great success. Despite the threat of snow and freezing temperatures, our members of the centre participated in this event. The Cheese Rolling contest on 16th February, which was the start of the build up to the Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival (www.chesterfoodanddrink.com), was closely battled out and this year's winning team was The Cheese Shop who beat the Fire Brigade.

During the event members of the public donated £260 to our volunteer bucket collectors, which was great, and after the race the ceremonial cheese was presented to the Lord Mayor by MS Support Centre member Dot Naylor.
